Hi, I’m Helena.
Pop the kettle on, grab a coffee (or tea!), and let me tell you a little about how I got here.
These days, I spend my time helping women who feel they’ve lost a little bit of themselves in midlife. Together, we explore simple, science-backed ways to support the body from the inside out and the outside in, so they have more energy, greater confidence, healthier skin, and can start feeling like themselves again.
But before any of thatā¦
I was simply a woman trying to figure out why I’d stopped feeling like me.
Maybe you’ve been there too.
My love of skincare began when I was 18 and struggling with painful acne along my jawline. Like so many women, I thought makeup was the answer. I became very good at covering my skin, but deep down I knew I wasn’t really caring for it.
Everything changed when I started working on Carnival Cruise Ships with Steiner.
It was there that I experienced professional skincare treatments, including galvanic facials, that transformed not only my skin but also my confidence. I fell in love with the science of skincare and discovered the joy of helping others feel good in their own skin.

Working at sea shaped me in so many ways. I met incredible people from around the world, many of whom are still dear friends today. More importantly, I learned how to really listen. Every client had a story, and I realised skincare was never just about skin. It was about confidence, connection, and helping someone feel more like themselves.
After almost seven years at sea, I returned home and had the privilege of working with some of the world’s leading beauty brands, including EstĆ©e Lauder. I loved mentoring teams, coaching others, and helping women understand their skin.

Then life handed me a challenge I never expected.
After years of living with fibroids, I had a hysterectomy in my early 40s, which brought on early menopause.
Suddenly, everything changed.
Anxiety.
Brain fog.
Night sweats.
Electric shock sensations.
Ringing in my ears.
Bleeding gums.
Bloating.
Fatigue.
My skin changed.
My confidence disappeared.
And if I’m honestā¦
I didn’t recognise the woman looking back at me.

I was surviving on coffee, red wine, and painkillers, simply trying to get through each day.
Then came the moment I’ll never forget.
I walked out of M&S with my beloved Peppa Pig sweets (yes, I still love them!) when an electric shock shot through my body and sent them flying across the car park.
I laughed.
Then I cried.
Not because of the sweets.
Because I realised I couldn’t keep living like that.
That was my breaking point.
Looking back, it was also the beginning of my healing.
Because I couldn’t take HRT due to my family history, I realised no one was coming to rescue me.
I had to take ownership of my own wellbeing.
Not overnight.
And definitely not perfectly.
I became curious instead of defeated.
I started learning everything I could about menopause, nutrition, gut health, oxidative stress, inflammation, and how our everyday choices affect the way we feel and the way our skin functions.
Little by little, things began to change.
I started moving my body because it made me feel stronger, not because I wanted to punish myself.
I worked on my mindset.
I began journalling and practising gratitude.
I removed gluten and dairy to see how my body responded.
I cut down on drinking alcohol, and I’m proud to say I’ve now been alcohol-free for four years.
I supported my body with nourishing food, targeted supplements, better sleep, and healthier daily habits while caring for my skin with science-backed skincare and the handheld Galvanic Spa that reminded me why I’d fallen in love with skincare all those years ago.
Slowly, something beautiful happened.
My energy returned.
I felt calmer.
My confidence grew.
My skin became healthier and brighter.
Most importantlyā¦
I felt like me again.
That changed everything.
Today, I don’t believe there’s one magic solution or one perfect way through midlife.
I believe in understanding your body.
Supporting your skin.
Looking after your mind.
And making small, consistent choices that help you feel stronger, healthier, and more like yourself again.
Because when you support yourself from the inside out and the outside in, something wonderful happens.
You don’t just see the difference.
You feel it.
And that’s when your glow naturally returns.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or wondering where the old you went, I want you to know there is hope.
You don’t have to become someone new.
You simply need to support the incredible woman you’ve become.
Whether you’re looking for guidance with your skin, navigating menopause, wanting to improve your wellbeing, or you’re a beauty professional who’d love to help women in a deeper, more holistic way, you’re so welcome here.
Put the kettle on, have a look around, and when you’re ready, I’d love to hear your story too.
